Our innovation fields stand for the future topics of photonics and laser technology. In these areas, we identify and initiate trends and thus contribute significantly to the further development of science, business, and industry.

Stimulus for the economy
The LZH supports companies in research and development and transfers new technologies from science to industry – for example with the Niedersachsen ADDITIV project. In 2019, the LZH received the award as 'Digital Spot in Lower Saxony.
In addition, we help companies of all sizes and from a wide range of industries to secure their competitiveness through photonic technologies. You can find an overview of our services here.
Niedersachsen ADDITIV is the point of contact on the subject of 3D printing, for companies and businesses in Lower Saxony. Our project provides manufacturer-independent information, professional training, and events on 3D printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing.
As part of the Enterprise Europe Network Lower Saxony, we support companies and resfrom Lower Saxony in the topics of internationalization, digitalization, innovation management, and sustainability.
For our commitment in the field of digitalization, we have been awarded as a "Digital Location Lower Saxony" in 2019. We will be happy to advise you on the potential that this topic can bring to your company.
